An unusual variety of Korean mum with upright, compact form and brilliant yellow, quill-petaled blooms with hot red tips. Early to mid-fall. Plants are somewhat brittle so site away from heavy foot traffic.
Excellent cut flower and attractive to butterflies. Can be cut back by half before the 4th of July to encourage a compact habit.
Prefer full sun to light shade. Well-drained, poor soil is best. Clumps benefit from division every 2-3 years.
