Large royal purple flowers with a hint of red in the center contrast with bright white stamens. Blooms early summer to mid fall above deep green mounding foliage. Heat tolerant. Good cut flower. Native to Southeastern U.S. Dead-head to prolong bloom. Winter mulch in zone 5.
