Dark violet-purple flowers over crinkled, gray-green, aromatic foliage. Still the best purple offered. 1997 PPA "Plant of the Year".
Prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil but is drought tolerant once established. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
