Loose cluster of yellowish chartreuse flowers in early summer. Attractive, gray-green pleated leaves are rounded and slightly hairy. Water droplets held on foliage sparkle in the sunlight. Can cut foliage back to produce a flush of new growth in autumn. Deer resistant.
Prefers light to full shade and moist, humus rich soil but is drought tolerant once established. Also tolerant of clay soil and coastal conditions.
