Vibrant golden foliage deepens as the plant matures and is topped with spikes of deep purple-blue flowers. Evergreen. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbit resistant.
Prefers afternoon shade and adaptive to drought or very moist soil, tolerant of clay soil. May need a barrier to keep from spreading. Can be grown under black walnut trees.
