Belamcanda chinensis Hello Yellow

Blackberry Lily

Compact clumps of bright green, sword-like leaves give rise to branched stems of bright, yellow, star-shaped blooms in late summer. Blooms to 18". Unlike most Belamcanda, blooms are not spotted. Seed heads open to reveal clusters of black seeds resembling blackberries. Prefer sun and average, well-drained soil.

Rhizomatous plants that will readily self sow. Alternate botanical name is Iris domestica.
