Pure white, star-like flowers with yellow stamens are borne in profusion over narrow, grass-like dark green foliage, typically after a good rainfall. Semi-evergreen foliage. All parts of this bulbous plant are toxic.
Prefers sun to light shade and rich or very moist soil but is tolerant of less.
