A compact, easy to grow native this one has narrow green foliage topped by deep pink flowers in late spring through early summer. Blooms profusely in cool spring weather. Lovely for edging the bright shade border or in the wildflower garden.
Prefers light shade and moist, well drained, moderately fertile soils. These will also grow in sun with sufficient moist and hold up well through drought, once established.
