Elegant native woodland plants with green maple-like leaves and small spikes of creamy-white, pink tinged flowers. More compact variety whose foliage turns red in cold weather. Clump former without stolons. Deer resistant.
Prefers light to partial shade and moist, humus-rich soil. Semi-evergreen.
