Blooms open white in May, fade to light lavender, and then to purple, creating a colorwheel effect. Broad, lance-shaped, evergreen leaves with white midveins take on a maroon fall color. Long blooming if kept deadheaded. Plant Patented.
Prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil but established plants can tolerate poor, dry soil. Attractive to butterflies. Deer resistant. Native cultivar.
