An improved version of Autumn Joy reputed to hold up better to the elements; it has thicker stems, a tighter growth habit and pink flowers that fade to a brighter red.
Prefer full sun and well-drained soil. Drought tolerant plants, they are particularly adapted for use in rock gardens or in borders. Also tolerant of coastal conditions. Long blooming. Deciduous. Attractive to butterflies.
