Dwarf variety with large, clear blue, star-shaped flowers. Good heat tolerance. Bluish-green foliage. Late to break dormancy in spring. Deer resistant. Attractive to butterflies. Long blooming if cut back or deadheaded.
Prefers sun to light shade and moist to dry, well-drained soils. Drought tolerant, but will not tolerate wet soil.
