Notched, upturned petals open a vivid purple and age to violet, maintaining their bright color. Flowers are slightly small than Purple Beauty but color is much more intense. Blooms blanket the plants at peak flowering.
Tolerant of drought and coastal conditions. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. May be sheared back after blooming to encourage fresh foliage. NATIVE cultivar.
