Full double, bright red blooms with a saucer of larger petals. Fragrant. Very heat tolerant, one of the longest blooming peonies, American Peony Society Gold Medal winner. Mid season.
Blooms best in full sun but prefers a bit of afternoon shade. Prefers a deep, well-drained, fertile, slightly alkaline soil. Remove old foliage in fall to prevent disease.
