A selection of our native honeysuckle, it has clusters of red-orange trumpet-shaped blossoms with orange interiors. Blooms throughout the season but is heaviest in late spring. Give it a strong trelllis or allow to sprawl as a groundcover.
Prefers full sun to light shade and moist, well-drained soil. Bloom is best in full sun. Drought tolerant. This is a favorite plant of hummingbirds.
