Lonicera nitida Baggesen's Gold
Box-leaf Honeysuckle
Underused, evergreen, bushy shrub with arching stems covered with small bright yellow leaves. Nice mounding habit, can be pruned to maintain smaller size or used as hedge. Insignificant flowers. Purple berries. Deer resistant.

Prefers light to partial shade, but will tolerate some sun or full shade. Best with some shade as leaves will burn in strong sunlight. Happiest in moist, well-drained soils. Adaptable to most soil, but not standing water. Drought tolerant once established.
