Iris ampliflora Ming Treasure
Ampliflora Iris
Vigorous, elongated leaves form dense clusters of foliage topped by bright purple flowers with orange throats in summer. This relatively newly-discovered, sterile hybrid has been described as “an Iris tectorum on steroids” due to its potential lineage. Thrives in moist to average soil in sun to part shade. Excellent for rain gardens.
