Rich purple to deep blue flowers with gold markings on the falls. Can tolerate clay soil. Deer resistant. Attractive to butterflies. Can be grown under black walnut trees.
Prefers sun to part shade and moist, organic-rich, acidic soil. They are tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions including dry and very wet, but will do best with consistent moisture throughout the growing season.
