Miniature. Thick leaves emerge blue-green with a wide yellow margin. They are twisted and cupped, creating a little mound of swirling skirts. Pale lavender and purple blooms in midsummer.
Prefers partial to full shade and moist, well-drained soil. Hostas will grow in ordinary garden soil and withstand drought, but they are most beautiful when provided with ample moisture and organic matter. Can tolerate clay soil.
