Foliage emerges chartreuse and matures to a shiny gold. Morning sun allows for best gold color, while plants are lime green in full shade. A vigorous grower that forms compact mounds.
Hosta will grow in ordinary garden soil and withstand drought, but they are most beautiful when provided with ample moisture and organic matter. Can tolerate clay soil.
