The leaves of this smaller hosta variety resemble waxy green apples, starting out yellow and maturing to chartreuse by late summer. Lavender colored blooms. Hosta will grow in ordinary garden soil and withstand drought, but they are most beautiful when provided with ample moisture and organic matter. Can tolerate clay soil.
