A vigorous cross between Corsican Hellebore and H. nigra (Christmas rose). In late winter the shiny blue-green foliage gives rise to masses of large upward-facing creamy white blooms, which become tinged with green as they age. Semi-evergreen.
Cut back old leaves in winter if they look shabby. Prefer light shade and humus-rich soil. Drought tolerant.
