Upright plants with narrow leaves are topped by clusters of fluffy yellow blooms from July to October. Spreads via underground roots to make attractive clumps. Attractive to butterflies and native bees.
Plants prefer full sun and average soil. Tolerates light shade. Happy in a wide range of soils, including wet clay. Drought tolerant. Native to the East and Gulf coasts.
