Deep violet strap-like leaves form a vase shaped clump that is truly outstanding. Leaves turn olive green in late summer when they are topped by a tall violet stalk of tiny white to pink blooms that resembles a pineapple. A Beautiful Garden variety.
Prefers sun and moist, well-drained soil, particularly in winter.
