Very soft pink to pale lavender blooms have narrow drooping petals and green to orange cones. Tall stems allow the plants to sway in the breeze above the rosette of narrow basal leaves.
Plants prefer full sun to light shade and well-drained soil. Tolerant of heat and humidity. E. pallida is native to much of the southeast and central portions of the US.
