Narrow silver-green leaves with spikes of soft to deep pink flowers. Compact growing habit. Excellent performer in heat. CAUTION: All parts of this plant are toxic & may be fatal if ingested.
Prefers partial shade to sun and evenly moist, well-drained, organic-rich soil. Tolerant of drier soils and drought once established.
Drought tolerant and deer resistant. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Cut back after flowering to encourage reblooming. Excellent, old-fashioned shade garden plant.
