Bright white, heart-shaped flowers dance above chartreuse foliage from April to June. Plants become dormant in the summer.
Prefers light to partial shaden and evenly moist, well-drained, rich, organic soil. Since foliage is dormant in summer, Astilbes, Ferns, Hostas, and Arum are excellent companion plants.
