Dark green foliage with graceful racemes of pink heart-shaped flowers in April and May. More robust than the white form. Deciduous. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
Prefers partial to full shade and evenly moist, well-drained, organic-rich soil.
