Intense red-orange blooms stand out all summer against glossy, dark burgundy foliage that has a glossy sheen. One of the hardiest varieties, heat and humidity tolerant. Butterfly and Hummingbird attractor. Deer resistant.
Prefers moist to wet soil and can tolerate clay soil. Does great submerged in water but must be dry for winter. Will usually over-winter in Richmond in the ground but may be treated like annuals or dug and stored above freezing for winter in colder areas.
