This is native, also known as nodding onion, that has a ball of star-like flowers that bend downward at the end of its upright stems. Its color ranges from pink to blue lilac to white. Its midsummer blooms are visited by small, short-tongued bees.
Prefers full sun and well-drained, moist to dry soil.
