Tall, leafless stems are topped in early summer with 4"-5" umbels of vivid violet purple flowers. Foliage is long, narrow and flat arising from the soil line. Bulbous plants.
Prefers sun with some afternoon shade and moist to dry, well-drained soils. Happy in sandy soils.
