Upright, violet purple flower spikes cover the top half of plants in early summer and will repeat later in the season if sheared back after first bloom. Elongate deep green foliage is disease resistant.
Prefers sun to light shade and moist, well-drained soils. For best appearance do not allow to completely dry out. Remove faded flowers to prolong bloom season.
