Fragrant blooms have carmine pink outer petals and a large boss of pale cream petaloids. Very free flowering. Compact mounds of foliage rarely need staking. Nice cut flower. Midseason.
Prefers a deep, well-drained, fertile, slightly alkaline soil. Remove old foliage in fall to prevent disease. Attracts butterflies.
