Semi-evergreen native vine that produces masses of small, white, four-petaled, unscented blooms in late summer/early fall. Blooms are followed by cute, fuzzy seed heads. Extremely vigorous grower. Can spread aggressively by self-seeding and suckering. Very attractive to pollinators.
Prefers sun to part shade and average to moist, even wet soils. Prune back hard after flowering to control growth. Plants are poisonous. Eastern native.
