Shiny, green leaves have creamy-gold edges. Orchid-like blooms with dark purple spots & yellow throats appear in branched clusters in the upper leaf axils and the stem tips in late summer and into fall. Vigorous, rhizomatous habit. Long blooming. Great plant for the woodland garden.
Prefers moist, well-drained soil and light to full shade, including heavy shade. Drought tolerant once established.
