4"-6" mauve pink flowers with creamy anthers bloom from June to September. Attractive seed heads. Prune back hard in late February or early March. Group 3. Deer resistant.
Clematis enjoy a sunny location with moist, well-drained neutral to alkaline soil where their roots are kept cool by shade or mulch. Do not overwater! Can be grown under black walnut trees.
