New stems emerge near-black with leaves that are very dark green with silver veins. Stems stay dark throughout spring. Pale blue, star-shaped flowers in clusters in late spring for many weeks. Nice mounding, shrub-like habit lasts into fall. A Proven winner selection. Native cultivar.
