Spikes of violet-blue flowers over silver, serrated aromatic foliage. Shearing produces bushy growth. Attractive to butterflies. Deer resistant.1995 PPA "Plant of the Year".
Prefers full sun to very light shade and requires well-draining soil. Tolerant of drought, alkaline soil and coastal conditions.
