Plants form neat, low mats of needle-like, dark bronze to deep brown foliage similar in form to S. 'Angelina'. Foliage takes on a deep red cast in cool weather. Yellow flowers in late summer contrast beautifully.
Prefers sun to light shade with moist well-drained soil. Great in containers.
