Thick spikes of royal blue flowers all summer. 1993 PPA "Plant of the Year". Remove faded flowers to prolong bloom season. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant.
Prefers sun to light shade and moist, well-drained soils. For best appearance do not allow to completely dry out.
