Billows of delicate lavender blooms with prominent yellow stamens and wine-red stems float over bright green ferny foliage from late summer to early fall. Great for mass planting at the back of the border. Attractive to butterflies.
Prefers light to partial shade, but will tolerate some sun with sufficient moisture. Grows best in moist, organic soil and is even tolerant of wet soil.
