Red flowers are surrounded by very larege, showy, colorful bracts. Fragrant, mildew resistant foliage. Attractive to hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Deer resistant. Native cultivar.
Prefers sun to light shade and moist, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant but will also do well in boggy situations and clay soil.
