Large, fully double, scarlet red flowers bloom on mounds of evergreen, green, fuzzy leaves from late spring to midsummer. It is deer resistant and attractive to butterflies and other pollinators.
Prefers full sun to partial shade and evenly moist, well-drained soil. Deadhead to promote continued flowering. May be cut back hard. Divide every 3-4 years.
