Long-lasting, 4" dark purple, star-like blooms with purple anthers fade to deep blue. Mound-forming plants are loaded with blooms from midsummer to early fall. Great for containers or as groundcover around roses or other ornamentals.
Pruning group 2 - Cut back by half in early spring. Clematis enjoy a sunny location with well-drained alkaline soil where their roots are kept cool by shade or mulch. Do not overwater! Can be grown under black walnut trees.
