Very compact cultivar with deep violet-blue flower spikes and glossy leaves. It has an upright form and does not lose its lower leaves or get leaf spot.
Prefers sun to light shade and moist, well-drained soils. For best appearance do not allow to completely dry out. Remove faded flowers to prolong bloom season. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant once established.
