Showy spikes of 2" white hooded flowers, sometimes tinged pink. Dense clumps of crisp, dark green foliage. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Native.
Prefers partial shade, but can take full sun if given ample moisture. Grows best in moist, even boggy soil, but will adapt to drier soils.
