This aster has showy blue-purple blooms in late summer and early autumn. It is very tall and benefits from pinching or cutting back before July. A butterfly favorite and good for cutting. Provide good air circulation to reduce diseases.
Prefers full sun and moist soil, suitable for a rain garden. Readily self-sows- may be cut back to ground to prevent seeding or if unsightly. NATIVE.
