Dark leaves emerge purplish-red and mature to green with purplish-red undersides. Yellow-orange flowerheads. Long blooming. Deer resistant. Caution: Some individuals may have allergic reactions to the sap of these plant. Toxic, if ingested.
Prefers partial to full shade and cool rich, moist soil. Good rain garden plant.
